    Hi,

I’m looking for a search box on the website. There most be stats in there (so you see what people are looking for) and there most be the option of blocking some parts of the website.
I had a look at hotscripts and download.com but there are heaps off these things.
I came across site-search-pro does someone has any good or bad experiences, or do you have any suggestions

    Thanks

I am currently using Site Search Pro (gold version) on my website, http://www.planjam.com. I have indexed about 40,000 pages and I am generally happy overall. The only problem I have is with the customer support...the phone number provided on the site is a fax number and doesnt work. There is no online documentation or forums...which makes troubleshooting extremely difficult. The site is owned by a guy over in Ukraine so expect a time delay when you ask a question (I got an answer about 10 hours later). Speaking of which, I never got an answer to the last question I sent him....hmmmm.

I also came across this site: http://www.interspire.com/fastfind/

They offer a 30 day, no questions money back guarantee. I am launching my site today and I was going to go with them had I not solved the problem I was having with Site Search Pro on my own.

I am not really unhappy with Site Search Pro, but I would give Interspire a shot first if I could do it over again...just because of the customer support thing.

I had a look on there website and it looks good. Also the support looks a lot better then site-search-pro. Has anybody experiences with this company?

I would just go ahead and give them a shot...they do offer a 30 day, no questions asked, money back guarantee. Also, they are a cheaper that SSP. If you don't like what they have to offer, you can always cancel it within the allowed time frame.
