Don't cancel any disputes with Paypal or your credit card company until the funds have cleared -- and then wait a few more days to make sure there's no "return check" from the bank...

Infact, I do not believe the check. I will wait for everything is finished and when I am sure then I cancel it. I will update this thread.

 

hmm..seems this is happening more and more not only on this forum,but others.When i first joined,i dont remember all the scams,but seems we all need to look out to keep this from getting members burnt.....whats the best course of action to protect ourselfs from dumbass peeps that scam?

 

It is clear that he is a scammer. I wonder if the admin of this forum can help us to investigate ?

 

Admins and MODS don't get involved with these matters, well that's what I have read anyway.

 

If you paid by PP then all he had to do was hit refund.
This person clearly scammed you and I am going to PM you his info for ezspaces.net because he scammed many members at PhpFox also.
He also admitted it in a thread there. But you won't be able to see it because you have to be a paid member(own the script). So I will also PM you what he said over there.

Seems like a sacmmer to me becuase if your account is on hold you can still refund the payment by clicking on Payment Details>Then refund issue..MY friend have done it sucessfully and i think he used invalid info in whois as it seems he is not from US from his english and since he is not worried at all..

I have his ip in my server which show me that he is from other place(he himself told me he is form Canada but I do not believe he told me the truth). Howerver, he is using phpfox server and I have asked them to investigate too(he is also scamming someone on phpfox forum).What he did is silly because he did not ask me about my address then why he knew to send me a check?!!

 

Yes, infact i think he is from place where paypal is not allowed & that's why his paypal is limited anyways Dont Close the dispute unless he refund the payment!

The guy got scammed!!!

 

A few notes here.

1. EZspaces.net is my domain.
2. I am not this character saying that it's his license.
3. Have an admin compare the IP's even run them through a proxy check.

Then I have a few questions for this guy who claims it's his.

1. Why are you masquerading around as me?
2. Why are you trying to sell my license.
3. How the HELL did you get that license.

One more note.

1. You can transfer a license before 6 months is up.

It seems that some of you do not want to read but just post for your fun.
I summarize my case again.

+I got scammed by shujinkko.
+He sold me wwww.teenirific.com with phpfox life time license and vbulletin
own license.
+He got my money and still does not give me the license information.
+I have confirmed with phpfox and vbulletin and they said there is no license for the domain.
+I filed a dispute in paypal and his account is "on hold" and he said he sent me a check but it is fake.
because he did not ask me and did not know my address.
+I am contacting police, vbulletin, paypal, my credit card company now.

I do not know who is Ezspaces but I did give shujinkko's ip(which is on my server) to phpfox team and they would investigate.
