Strange! Indian government is being hailed as having courage to act stern against terrorists after it hanged Ajmal Kasab, a terrorist responsible for 26/11 Mumbai carnage. But is it so really? the fact is it has actually attracted more revenge attacks! Let (oh, no, I didn't mean to write LET) it be as it is. If India had the courage and if it had the much more needed resolve to fight terror, it would hang that man much earlier when the court sentenced him with death penalty 2 years ago. What say?
Can you extract information once he is dead, can you do it now. Government wanted to extract as much info they could. What use is he to us when we have all the information he has. Yes his security cost was high, but extracting as much information was also important. And for once, can Indians unite and stand by its government.
I believe it's a political stunt by the Congress to attract some vote bank in favor of their party. Some reliable politicians are saying that kasab was already dying from Dengue, so the goverment just pulled this stunt and announced the capital punishment about the kasab. And the media is already in the pocket of the government which helped them in making people believe what they want them to.
Revenge attacks? As if they need a reason to attack.. They are terrorists, reason or not, they will try and attack again.. What was the reason for previous attacks? No reason, they are maniacs. Let them come and they will be sent to hell just like their brothers.
I have read the news that Pakistan Taliban will attack Indian interests through out the world to revenge Kasab's death.
I am not denying it. You are absolutely right. But how does it explain Afzal Guru's case? Is there anything left out for the government to extract from him after 11 years and death sentence many years ago?
