Yes it is ok to use their RSS but you must check first for the terms & conditions of the site, if it has one.

    Wall Street Journal Terms
    :

    The BBC terms:

It is up to the websites to provide the terms & conditions as RSS is simple syndication/rich site summary so thats what its there for and of course to use in RSS readers.

If a site does not have terms and you do decide to use their RSS the ethical thing to do is give them credit by naming their site and linking back.

even if they have terms and conditions it's still possible you can legally use their feeds on your site. people have the right to publish material that falls under fair use, regardless of what "terms and conditions" they have.

right, didn't mean to have it come off like that was what I was suggesting to do. just pointing out that a TOS/TOU doesn't really do a whole lot legally if by law you already have the rights to produce what you're producing.

No it's not. The authors own copyright and are totally entitled to sue the infringer. (full content)

if you use only snippets provided via RSS then it should be okay.

If you link back to the original page,it's legal IMO.
But I can't see that I could benefit from this kind of sites.

That would 100% depend on the TOS of the RSS feed.

You're reprinting their entire RSS feed, the fact that their RSS feed is made up of snippets is irrelevant as the actual RSS feed as a whole would be copyrighted as well.

Sorry, but I don't see a defence for this one in a court of law, but lots of people do it.

If you want to do it, talk to a lawyer first unless you want to be on the hook for up to 250k each time you do it. No one on this board is able to give you proper legal advice on the subject.

Some places publish full articles in RSS.

It's really best if you just ask before doing it.

It depends on the source from where u will be getting feeds from.
Besices...leaving a link back to the permalink shud not harm or hinder...u in this case

If you post feed of news, you won't have any duplicate content problem and you can still target good keywords
As for the autoposting, look at Blog Auto Poste at blogautoposter.free.fr
