How to get my website ranked 1st on Google (current position 2nd)

    I need your help guys with this
    I have a website ranked second for one of my targeted keywords in Saudi Arabia. The one with the first position is taking the first four results in Google local search.

    What is the best and fastest way to move my ranking up?!
    Please note that the keyword is in Arabic language
    looking forward to hearing your thoughts.

    What methods are you currently using? Be sure that you are trying for several keywords.

    For me personally, getting a few high quality backlinks has been key. Also, try setting up Google authorship! It's a great, uncommon tool that will put you ahead with a little bit of effort.

    I agree with what YoungAce had suggested. Get more good quality backlinks. Also, try adding at least 2-3 new unique articles per week, this usually helps boost your SERP even more :)

    Check out the keywords for which the competitor is showing the first 4 results. Use keywords checker tool and find powerful equivalent keywords. Create multiple unique articles with those keywords to get your site displayed in multiple results. Your site will move gradually (not instantly) up based on content quality, backlinks and search popularity.

    Check out your competitors back link profile, see how far ahead they are of you. Keep up consistent SEO work with quality relevant backlinks and over time you should get there. Also bare in mind that they are also probably doing SEO so sometimes its a case of just doing more than the other but do not push it to far that you may get penalised by Google.
