Custom built by my friend. No one else has the script except for www.friendfury.com which he owns. We will not sell the script (and have turned down tons of offers from people asking for it)

OK thanks I understand now. Most of the site value was in the traffic and revenue but all that is gone now and a person would need large myspace accounts and a lot of promotion to get it back which kind of defeats the purpose of buying it for the traffic and revenue.

The site is also pointing to a different site now that won't make as much money. Any actual reason for that? Any way you'd build teh site back up before the sale?

A hint for the new owner: the site helps you get friends on your myspace account, therefore building up accounts is simple. A lot of promotion is not needed, but if you want to spend some $ for advertising, you can do it on some of the largest myspace resource websites. Friendfleetlite.com is the new domain, but friendfleet.com points to it. You can change that if you own it, makes no difference to me. I don't have the time to build the site back up before I sell it, but I can provide proof that friendfury.com (my ex-business partner owns it) is still going strong because they constantly promote and have a nice referral system in place.

How are they promoting friendfury.com? Do they have some large myspace accounts?

They have one myspace account with 10,000 friends, which takes about 1-2 weeks to build up using the system. Their main promotion is their affiliate program they created.

current high bid is $1050 at sitepoint, BIN is $8500. The only maintenance the site requires is when someone purchases a subscription you just have to enter them into the system through the admin panel. This takes about 20 seconds. Other than that there is no maintenance.

It is an auction it ends in 3 days, 3 hours, 29 minutes (according to sitepoint). However, I will not sell the site for less than $8500, so if someone Buys it now, the auction is over.

Someone has offered $6500 privately. Would anyone like to counter this offer?

this is very very low traffic... if you have 300 visitors, how can its members get 500+ adds per day? just simple math...
