Over the years we've all seen those Google's Top 20 most expensive keywords infographics. And that's cool. But it really doesn't help us out much. I kicked it up an notch and hand-searched Google's keyword suggestion tool for keywords that get at least 1,000 broad-match searches a month AND has an average cost per click of at least $10.00. I found over 250 expensive keyword phrases with lots of searches. Some get hundreds of thousands... even millions of searches. You can see the entire list (no option) here: http://www.fetch123.com/SEM/the-most-expensive-keywords-in-google Even more interesting is the month over month trending data. The average search volume of this list of keywords increased 4.16%. Even more interesting is the average cost per click increased .56% - so much for a recession (or depression). Bottom line: If you're in a niche that matches any of the words on this list, I'd pay close attention. Because optimizing for these special keyword phrases could SIGNIFICANTLY boost your AdSense payouts. Do you like?
Thanks for sharing- its very nice of you. I might starting using your keywords for adsense sites in the future. Cheers
OMG, 146$ for a keyword that involves a lawyer. That was rich . How much the lawyer would cost 2k/hour?
Actually, there are similar keywords that are higher than $200.00 per click... but I didn't include them because they didn't meet my threshold of over 1,000 broad match searches a month.
I doubt they're losing money. Lawyers know that $140 a click is peanuts compared to winning a mesothelioma lawsuit.
