This is the correct method. But have to add something. you have to be active on all of those forums and find out where you get the opportunity. SEO is the good method. but you should know seo yourself to promote your website. but the forum method given by hemanuzo is a successful and proven one. One of my friend has 20 forums of his own and earning around $3000 mo. So also you can add free level 1 for all the games. This will create interest in the minds of the users. So also add more credits for the people who will add $50 or $100 to their accounts. This will also boose your website.
YOu're shooting pretty high. It's better to set a more realistic goal, like say 100 members. I recommend social media and viral ad exchanges which are both high leverage activities.

I don't play any fantasy sports. viral ads are ads that are shown everywhere, hence the term "viral". They are shown on every website/device that uses the ad service that the ad is being used on.
