    Hi eng.heshamfathi,

If you're using wordpress take a look at WooCommerce. It's got good features out of the box and if you need extra flexibility you can buy extensions.

    Hi,

I have done multiple sites with WP store and I think woocommerce, wpcommerce are the best. You get a lot of important features already built in with easy customization and numerous compatible plugins available. But WP works perfect for an eCommerce website, needless to mention the ease of managing everything.

    Good luck with your website.

I absolutely love my WP e-Commerce plugin. :)

I never expected to get so much out of it. I'd definitely recommend giving it a try. You'd like it.

    Nope, WooCommerce is paid.

I would advice to take a look at WP e-Commerce, and Jigoshop, though Jigoshop is a quite new pluging, but yet powerful.

Woo Commerce is very developer friendly. I have been using wp ecommerce but i switched to woo, because of the plugins availability, and developer friendliness. I think it would make for a pretty decent standard in ecommerce.

wp-e-commerce if you have lots of money for support and lots of patience for their glitchy system.

this guy must work for them or have some ownership.. i've been doing this for 13 years now and they are the worst... worst plugin (recently updated to be a bit better) and worst support (you have to pay for it)

eShop is an easily accessible WordPress plugin. It has simple controls and provides various methods for listing products. Adding products and customizing settings is easy on eshop. Also it has a simple interface for quick browsing and purchase. It also provides multiple merchant payment gateways, statistics for purchase, multiple shipping options (including by weight) etc.
Hope it is good for you

I am presently doing some research on platforms to build my ecommerce site and wondering if I should go with wordpress or have it hand coded with html or some other method. From what I understand wordpress is great if you do blogging on your site, its light weight in code, its easy to update and add pages and in general great for the avg joe to manage their own site. My question is: am I giving up important design functionalities and shopping cart options by choosing wordpress? I am also cautious because Ive heard wordpress has many updates and those updates may not be compatible with the shopping cart you have. In short- by using wordpress as my web site platform for ecommerce am I asking for trouble i.e. glitchiness, problems, headaches etc? Also I have only about 10 products so it is a very small site. It is a site as much about information as it is selling product.
