    Don't even consider Google in the equation. This is a traffic play, pure and simple. I have had a link since the early days and I get a little bit of traffic everyday. Granted, it is not targeted traffic - but for $27, I am very happy.

    He says he is going to start calling newspapers after he hits $10k. Hopefully the story will get picked up. Traffic will really jump then.

    That would definitely be good for traffic. He's very close to $10K also. 13 more minimum bid links or 1 link in the top 4.

    Go for it - I have several $27 links (go click on them!!) and they have brought a good amount of traffic since I bought them - a while back. I am not certain about conversions, but it is a steady stream of 10-20 extra people a day.

    Thats interesting but i guess the traffic is composed of curious webmasters that want to see what site paid for that link :) were im wrong ?

    The same traffic you get at a directory for example ?
