Google Keyword Research Type

What is the better keyword search type Broad, Exact, or Phrase? Also, with the Google Adwords Keyword Tool, how many Global Monthly Searches are sufficient enough to render a keyword usable in each. Please advise.

Use exact match as this is what drives keyword traffic to your site. You should really focus on local traffic rather than global as most searches are pretty country specific.

 

All are good but exact match keyword will tell you the exact searches of the particular keyword.

 

Thanks everyone. I was thinking exact, but it's is so difficult to find high search volume with Exact matches.

 

Use exact match. As far as global searches, go for around 10,000 or more.

as other poster above have pointed you have to go with exact match if you want to see accurate results, broad search hold many possible variations inside
