Hopefully that is not the case here; either way I do not write free samples; samples that I write are paid for and in advance because I have learned my lesson from the past. There have been those that say they will pay for samples and they do not pay but they do not mention that the samples are free. I have realized that the so-called "free samples" are just a scam for the "buyer" to get as many articles as they can for free. Not from me!
Of course. Totally agreed. I, too, refused to do "free" samples and was instantly deleted from this buyer's Skype list.
I replied to this yesterday within minutes of it being posted and we exchanged skypes, but he/she never replied to my messages. I don't know why a sample would be needed if they just need something proofed. lol. Should be able to tell from our messages if we know how to write and spell. This makes three jobs for me, which I've just sat and stared at the screen, with no follow up replies from the buyers. What is going on!?
I'm not sure but I have experienced this as well...it's as if the buyer wants to see how you will reply to them and according to what you say in your message determines whether or not they will be able to get something for free out of you..not sure what the deal is lately. I find that it is getting rather tricky lately to find an honest buyer. Not sure if it has anything to do with the holidays coming up and people are trying to get as much as possible for as little as possible?? Beats me..lol.
I replied to this character and firstly he changed his original offer of $2/500 words to $1/500 words THEN he wanted to pay weekly. I challenged his reply asking why he had changed the offer and that no one is going to do a weeks work upfront. As yet no response. Dave
