A surprisingly close race in Pennsylvania has caught the Democrats off guard, leaving them resorting to last minute "tactics".

Judge issues an emergency order to reinstate the Republican inspectors

Exactly. A full wall mural advertisement for Obama at a place of polling, which is a direct violation of Electioneering voting laws.

Now compare and contrast that with this story:

In other words, if some dumb ass liberal who doesn't know the difference between M.I.T. and the name Mitt sees you at a place of polling wearing an MIT shirt, you get the boot. But a full sized wall mural of Obama behind the polling booths, no problem.

A poster featuring President Obama that read "Change the Atmosphere" was reported to be hanging on a wall at a Florida, polling station.

This photo was reportedly taken by a voter inside precinct 1321-1251 at Jack L McLean Community Center in Tallahassee, FL:

This morning, a legally credentialed poll watcher was threatened and intimidated while attempting to perform his legally allowed duties of observing the election process at precinct polling location 289 in Detroit. The poll watcher, a lawyer, was confronted by a voter in line, who demanded the poll watcher produce his credentials, which he did.

However, the voter said that wasn’t good enough and that he had “a badge and a gun” and told the poll watcher get out of the precinct. Rather than allow the situation to escalate, the poll watcher left before the voter produced a badge or brandished a gun. Fearing for his safety, the poll watcher exited and called 911, however the Detroit Police refused to respond to the call – neglecting the fact that a voter alleged to have a ‘badge’ and a ‘gun’ in a precinct, putting other voters at risk.

"This photo, taken by a voter this morning at the Ward 4, Precinct 37 polling place (1212 South Plymouth Court, Chicago), shows an election judge checking in voters while wearing an Obama hat," a source writes. "Chicago's 4th ward is home to President Barack Obama."

The voter who took the photo says: "Woman in front of me also given an extra ballot."

And the voter adds that she has in the past been an election observer abroad. "I had greater confidence votes mattered [in a foreign election in a transitioning country] than I did about my own vote today," says the voter.

Bloody arsehole in Philly. Standing there greeting people and opening doors for them. What next!!!!

And election posters on walls trying to influence people - what! They just spent 2 Billion on other forms of advertising over what seems like a decade and they use an election poster on a wall to influence the people who have turned up to vote. Oh my dear.

No wonder most people can't be bothered.

The problem is political advertisements within 100ft of a place of polling are illegal. Against the law. So is loitering outside a place of polling, especially if you are a 6'5" man dressed in paramilitary garb which signifies your political stance. You are probably to young or too uninformed to know, but many of these very election laws were created to protect minorities, and specifically black people from groups like the KKK.

Regarding voting machine conspiracies, you are going to have to find a "software glitch" that is a bit less bi-partisan. In fact, I've heard way more stories of these "software glitches" happening to Republicans than Democrats

Back on topic, I thought this was humorous. The UN election monitors the Democrats begged to be sent over to monitor our elections for fraud had this observation to make:
What is the take away? Two things.

    1) Democrats invited people from third world nations who vote with marbles to audit our elections for corruption. What a bunch of morons.
    2) Primitive procedures and homogeneous societies aside, our visitors had the common sense to understand that an election system without voter identification is prone to fraud.

Yeah, we had a special on US voting procedures last night on TV that I managed to sit through. A right royal laugh it was too. Once again I give thanks that we aren't completely paranoid like you blokes. Gawd, everyone is out to get ya, everyone is trying to steal votes from ya, everyone is out to vote seven times against YOUR favourite party. THEY are influencing people by wearing a cap. The machines are changing your vote. The United States of Paranoia.

We have compulsory voting, no voter ID, political signs with greeters are everywhere outside polling booths. Voter rolls are checked after the election and the instances of people voting twice are virtually zero and in no way whatsoever would ever change an election result. We can either choose to take how to vote cards from political greeters or ignore them. And actual voting usually takes a few seconds to less than a minute for the fastidious. But I am sure that that your system is the world's best.

Bragging about your electoral system is like bragging about the fact you drive on the left hand side of the road.

LOL... It shouldn't be a big deal for signs of Obama to be up while people are voting?

Jaw dropping stupidity we have now reached with people. Let's keep dropping to new lows!

Take pity on poor ol' Bob. Pointing out he has issues is like pointing out the pope is Catholic.
