Hello, Did any of you launch and rank a brand new site in Google in 2012? (Yeah, I know, I know... visitor metrics, engagement, "don't rely solely on Google"... but SEO still works to some extent, there are new techniques) I am just wondering: did you manage to kick-start a brand new site and get lots of visitors from free Google organic search due to new SEO techniques? I am not talking about old sites "still going" or "recovering from Panda/Penguin"... Could you launch a site and prosper with SEO in 2012? I'd really like to see someone who says "YES"
I ranked a website in Google in 2012 which was owned in 2012 only. I can't share the details for the website here, so if you need more details then you can send a PM
As with the other response, I'm reticent to post a particular site... but I'd be happy to show you several examples if you contact me Andy Kuiper Calgary SEO Analyst www.andykuiper.com feel free to contact me
Absolutely!... I ranked 7 sites on the first page in 2012, and currently working on 6 more that will be on the first page by year's end.. Why do you ask? What's the problem? GC
It seems to be damn slow and hard... I've been working in e-business for long years... It just seems a very hard process this year. Not sure why. There is one particular site that I've been working on for about 9 months and it's still sluggish with a handful of visitors. What technique have you used? I've been blog comment posting, bought several relevant good PR directory listings (only a few very good quality - delicate issue, I know, but I think I proceeded wisely), been acquiring a few links from related pages (100 % good quality, not necessarily bought), I am review-writing as well (this is still in the beginning process)... that's about it. (now considering going into YouTube, trying classified ads)... As for on-page: writing and adding content periodically, sped up loading times, writing content for visitors not search engines, making sure content is LSI-compatible etc. I am always even writing down my projects and following strict step-by-step processes... Made sure I am 100 % Panda and Penguin proof, so no "old-fashioned SEO" Perhaps it's just a question of time... or I should do even more of this and even new stuff... But it seems like it's very slow this year. So I was wondering: how did you do it?
