    the server on Windows. the version of Apache is 2.2.17 if it's help..

    Actually, if you are using the server on the windows platform, you won't be able to use Apache web server. On windows you will only be able to use IIS web server.As soon as you install IIS on your server, you will be able to choose the type of authentication via IIS-Authentication ( and you will be able to select the necessary authentication method).

    If necessary, I can provide you with the windows server with IIS for testing.

    I'm using WAMP sever. And I also have Linux so if it's necessary I can switch to it..
