Just curious if you do or had to choose a website builder for building your site such as using Bluehost, Wix.com or more which one you would choose or template options. As in, who offers the best ones and why?
Checkout Breezi.com, it's a website builder that gives you creative freedom to build your own layout and best of all their pixel level control options are awesome.
I use wall.fm and also some others. each has advantages and disadvantages. I think that using oxwall on wall.fm very suitable for those who want to create a social networking site easily and well. Although the templates look just a little but you can freely change the CSS. if only my experience can give you feedback.
BLuehost + WordPress. Bluehost was nominated as no 1 on Webserverchoice for top 10 webhosting 2012. And Wordpress is a blogging platform that Google love and easy to rank.
I use our own CMS - adaweb.my. Not the best yet bnut sufficient and has a lot of potential in making templates and doing the SEO too.
I always use artisteer, good software... The big thing is that you can design any kind of template you want, custom colors custom menu design, custom module positions. So much possible and easy to use just like word. Give it a try!
Breezi.com is a nice web builder, it has a lot of features that allow you to design the site just how you like it.
I know that Bluehost offers Weebly Drag & Drop Builder for free site creation for its customers. Weebly Drag and Drop Builder will let you build a professional-looking, interactive website that's reflective of your business simply by dragging and dropping site elements onto your web pages. Easily integrate videos, pictures, maps, contact forms, a blog and more--the end result will be a site that looks professionally-designed, but took mere minutes to create!
Depends on what you need. Drag and drop editors may give you freedom, but your site might not look consistent in all browsers and you wouldn't want to do that. One advantage of using website builders with templates is that you don't have to worry about that. Also, mobile content is on the rise so you might want to consider a template that works on mobile also. SnackWebsites, for example has templates that work consistently for both desktop and mobile. They also have nice templates, lots of customization options. Hope this helped.
If we for example analyse the advantages of Weebly Pro account, I should say that it gives a lot of privileges in comparison to a simple Free account. The license for the Pro account costs $4 per year. This price includes: Page password protection option; The ability to remove the advertising signature from all the site’s pages; The possibility to create up to 10 websites under one account; The ability to upload 100 mb files( maximum); Audio and video recorder integration; Option for importing Google Docs documents; $100 credit for Google AdWords; Live-chat technical support and phone support Below you can see the table where you find the difference between Weebly Free account and Pro account options : Free account Doesn’t have the password protection directory option Advertising on weebly site at the bottom of each page 2 sites can be created under one account The size of uploadable files is not more than 40 mb No audio/video recorders Pro account Password-protection directory function. The list of users who has access can be limited Advertising can be turned off 10 sites can be created under one account The size if uploadable files can be up to 100 mb Importable audio/video recorder So , we can make a conclusion that pro account is really worth using and 4$ is a small sum which you can spend to get such a list of useful functions. weebly site conclusions: Nice and simple design A rich variety of site builder functions , but a little bit time-taking editing process The ability of cooperation work A bundle of site templates for site design
Given that they all output fat bloated inaccessible rubbish reeking of "WCAG, what's that" and a complete failure to grasp the point of HTML and CSS, you couldn't pay me to use any form of 'site builder' asshattery, and I truly pity the incompetent ignorant fools DUMB ENOUGH to even try.
