5-6 times. Probably about 6 months. Then I experienced some "beginner's luck", and now I'm just lazy...kinda weird.
That is a very good question. I think many people fail because they come to this business with the wrong mindset. People give up when they do not see the results they want. People want to see money overnight. People want a bank account full of money in the next 24 hours. People are not ready to roll their sleeves up and get dirty doing the hard work. They think because is an online business, money is going to pour down in buckets. Like any other business, there is a process that all of us have to follow to succeed and see the results we want, we need to be patient and give ourselves time and look after this business on a daily basis. Most of us want everything easy, and quickly without much effort. Let me tell you one thing, if you are trying to be here for the long haul. You have to be ready to fail miserably and learn from your mistakes. Most of the big marketers that we see today failed a thousand time before they got things right. If you are here to get rich overnight, then this is not the right place for you my friend. You have to understand in order to get to the top, you need to learn the fundamentals of this business to be at zenith of your carreer, like any other business we all need to learn the basis to be where we want to be. Unfortunately, many people who want to get started in this business, do not approach it with the right mindset, and after a few months of trying to make money online, they give up and say I FAILED. Instead of giving up and say I failed, think, how close you were to reach success when you gave up, how far from success were you, when you gave up, how close was success to you when you gave up. You need to follow the steps to succeed in this business, it is like a manual to fix a car, you need the instructions that are going to take you from bottom to the top without skiping or jumping any step in between. If you follow that simple rule, you will be here for long time. I hope that helps a little bit my friends. Remember, follow the process, the steps, the rules, and approach this business with the right mindset, attitude to succeed.
Yes, I agree. People buy an ebook, hosting, some domains. They loose money and turn sour. Happens 99% of the time. If you want to succeed, you have to know you will succeed. That's the only way. After all, how many times have you known you were going to accomplish something and failed? A simple example is I know I will go to bed after midnight tonight. I can literally see the future and embrace it. And I am confident of it.

I can say I failed a lot of times...but in this industry we have the luxury to fail fast which means we can move on to another niche to work on if the current niche we are trying to workout is failing or not meeting the expectations that you wanted, so being in the right niche can make your chances more positive..
It's been nearly seven years, and I'm still not ready to call it a failure . Focus and finances play a big part of getting things done. Sometimes we have to take things at a slow pace, but we dont have to throw in the towel. Of course, this kind of thinking might just be a major roadblock in the first place.
No failure at all for me. I came in with an exact plan of what i wanted to so, had no expectations of earnings and had patience.
