I think the hardware up-gradation is more important to operate the Windows 8 operating system, It is all gadgets based.
yesterday i have upgraded my windows 7 to windows 8 it is pretty fast.i am fully satisfied.bcas after applying voucher it only cost me 30$ to upgrade to windows 8
I'm staying away from Windows 8, simply because it's Microsoft. The best OS they've made since Win98 has to be Windows 7, Windows Vista was a fail. The whole 'metro style' interface of Win8 is what put me off it.
I actually gave it a try and now I am back to using Windows 7. Where I liked some of the improvement, overall usability of the OS is much, much lower than any other recent version of windows.
It is definitely different. It will take some getting used to, but I think I like it so far. It definitely seems to have increased speed over windows 7.
Windows 8 is fantastic! Windows 8 is basically built on top of the Windows 7 operating system. They only added the metro UI and added a lot of other great and even better features to the new operating system. Yes, Windows 8 will work better on Tablets, rather than desktop PCs. They also removed the start menu and you need to change a lot between the metro UI and the desktop. I, however, found a solution: Start8. This software gave back the start button and boots my PC up to the desktop. I don't even see the Metro UI unless I go there for something. I think Win 8 is great and will not go back to Windows 7. Besides, I got the Windows 8 pro operating system from Microsoft for only $14.99. I also got the Media Center totally free from them.
i found in ebay they are selling it for 1300 rupees/license http://www.ebay.in/itm/Windows-8-Pr...1?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_203&hash=item20ccf2e12b
It's already 2 month that I'm using windows 8, mainly for testing purpose. The GUI it's different, but in a few hours it's difficult to live without it. Actually I passed all my application to windows 8, they are working perfectly and even faster. There are some small application that I still run on windows xp with vmware.
