Hey there, I am interested in some of these domains, but that redirect thing you have going to BrandedNames.com or that Dominate "stake your claim" site is VERY annoying. It doesnt allow me to audit the domain using my paid seo tools easily. I would have to manually copy and paste each domain into each tool to check them out before making an offer. This is why I will be passing on this sale and not making any offers.

I would consider changing this practice when listing big lots of domains like this. Its not a big deal for me to check just one or two, but not worth the time for several.

Thanks for voicing your concern. For the most part, the value in our domains is based on the name quality (brandability, keyword quality, etc.) and sometimes domain age. We actually do not pay attention to other SEO attributes like links and PR, so you wouldn't be finding them on most of the domains anyways.

I realize that many of the domains listed here are listed based on THAT sort of value whereby the name itself is poor quality but it may be PR3 and have hundreds of links back. Our philosophy is that even if you get traffic with those names, the name quality is usually so bad that visitors won't like it or trust it and it'll either be a short visit or they simply won't feel safe to pull out their wallet to pay for something or click on links. Not only does that make the traffic you'd get thanks to those SEO qualities worthless, but with Google looking at what the visitors you get do on site, they would likely move you down in rankings anyways. That's what many sites are experiencing now and why it's only a matter of time before poor quality domains will be worthless despite whatever links and PR they may have. That's besides the fact that links can be removed and PR can disappear, which would make the domain worthless in any event.

We simply don't deal in those sorts of names and feel the kinds of domains we offer are worth more to serious developers and SEOs and will hold if not improve their value over time regardless of any links or PR.
