He has an amazing story. His Wiki page starts "Thomas Peterffy was born in Budapest, Hungary in 1944 in a hospital basement during a Russian air raid. He emigrated to the United States as refugee in 1965 to escape communism..." and ends with "...Peterffy is the 189th wealthiest billionaire in the world with a net worth of $5.4 billion." Wow.
Prepare to laugh as the President has to deal with an actual journalist from a local Colorado channel. The snark is to die for.
"People know what I mean".. LOL The energy failures, have "nothing to do with politics". I guess that's his answer to Solyndra as well! Asking the wealthy to pay more in taxes, for funding more research.. Absolutely, 100% clueless.
He refuses to answer any questions directly. The one especially troubling is if the Americans in Libya were denied help during the attack. The interviewer asks more than once. If there was no truth to that, I would expect him to act surprised by the question. He's not. Instead, he just keep avoiding, and saying that they'll be brought to justice. That's not an answer. I'm sure he knows.
He was asked during the last debate, too. He refuses to even remotely address that someone in his administration denied our embassy in Libya the extra security they were begging for. BTW, LEGAL immigrants like Republicans, because the cheap labor the ILLEGAL immigrants provide the Dems take away jobs from the legals.
Denied security prior to the attack is not even up for debate. It is a fact. The administration is hiding behind the concept of "If we only knew then what we know now", but every other ally in the region pulled out for the very same reasons so for him not to know this was coming is obviously the height of incompetence. The question Rebecca is talking about is whether or not the administration denied help mid attack, an attack which, after 7 long hours, finally resulted in four American deaths. It seems the obvious answer to this question is "yes" as well, though the president won't say so personally. In two hours, we could have had a large marine force flown in from Italy. In less than two hours, we could have had a AC130 spectre gunship, armed with four 20 mm M61 6-barrel Gatling cannons, circling the anex wiping out the few skinnies dumb enough to stick around. Somebody in the chain of command made the decision to not send in any assistance and leave our troops and ambassador to die. Perhaps it happened in the military chain of command, perhaps it happened in the CIA chain of command, perhaps it happened out of the Oval office. Perhaps it happened based on standing orders from the Oval office. Perhaps it happened from fear of some rag head buying the farm and later being declared an innocent non-combatant. Perhaps it happened from fear of causing an international incident from the use of Military assets in someone else's sovereign airspace. I believe Panetta actually invoked the fear of creating another "Blackhawk down" incident, with images of the Clinton administration's foreign policy echoing behind his eyes. When you look at the gravity of decision to interfere and risk incident, or let our guys simply die as expendable resources to the greater cause of Obama's foreign policy, one thing seems absolutely obvious to me. The decision came from somewhere near the very top.
Panetta is claiming that the refusal came from him, but as CIA director I don't think Panetta has that military authority. This has to come from the very top. The U.S. Navy said Saturday it is replacing the admiral in command of an aircraft carrier strike group in the Middle East, Rear Adm. Charles M. Gaouette. A carrier strike group commander has never been replaced during its deployment. Admiral Gaouette was fired by President Obama for disobeying orders when he ordered his forces on 11 September to "assist and provide intelligence for" American military forces ordered into action by US Army General Carter Ham, who was then the commander ofthe United States Africa Command (AFRICOM), against terrorist forces attacking the American Consulate in Benghazi, Libya. This just stinks.
How long before the new Federal Fire Department policy under Obama states that firemen are not to enter burning buildings when they see people trapped on the top floor. Just watch em burn. Those who disobey orders and risk their lives are to be terminated with prejudice. It seems like only yesterday that we had a term for that type of behavior. The word we used was cowardice.
Panetta used to be the CIA director, he is currently the Secretary of Defense. Petraeus is the CIA director.
I have heard comments about him saying "you didn't build that", but this was the first time I heard him saying it. Wow, Mr. Clueless! He even has the same type of "church service" going on in this video as I would image the church he went to did. Bunch of cheering from those easily mislead. Sickening....
