We're about to redesign this furniture store site. It will include the Yahoo! store. We'll also give away 5k worth the furniture in an upcoming contest and a logo contest is currently running on the other point. You have a nice looking site now. Phone number at the top of every page, live support on the pages, nice clean looking site. Things I might want to change would be 1. I would have a little box that keeps up with the total of everything I've bought so when I get ready to check out there are no suprises with shipping cost or that I've put more items into the cart then I had thought. 2. When it's time to check out maybe show the shopper a couple items that would go with his purchase at check out. Say I brought a bed maybe show me a couple end tables that would go with that bed at the point of check out. 3. I would change the mouse over effect on the top navigation. You already have a nice looking site so there is not a lot that needs to be changed, maybe on the new site add some products into the header. How has the current site worked for?
if you know howt to code with ajax you may try nowadays popular script.. and add your site more imformations about products. about what they made.
I still think this site will benefit by promoting and marketing with Travel Sites There is a lot of synergy as folks travel see great furniture and design then, they have a problem where to find and buy the furniture Integrating with a Travel Site will bring in sales
there are few gaps between the boxes top menu and the bedroom image image and the right side box image and bottom boxes spacing issue inside the boxes 3 boxes in bottom right side box next to main image there should be use of gradients to little effect colors are decent just need more creativity in the design for it to look outstanding.
Maybe try to make a place for hot products, special discounts with more parts, although about the look, drop the effects for top menu, try to make a new header and maybe a flash slide show of popular stuff.

Sweet site. I think that you should reduce the number of fonts used. Use one for the titles another for the content and hyperlinks. The most important change should be done for the menu. I think that some sweet beige gradient will really improve it. Don’t use too much bold. Hovering menu links underline them, using italic for that only spoils the good impression. “Free shipping...†I think would look better as a banner to the right

It's worked, but could work better. Your suggestions were great btw. I am considering choosing another gateway than the Yahoo! Store thing. Btw. a lot of the redesign will have to do with making it search engine friendly. The site has lost a lot of 8 year old links when it was transferred to the Yahoo! need to work with header.stores are not perfect but need to hv some unique. overall site looks gud.u can improve very nicely. Abhilash.
