Hi all, well here the situation. I have written a lot of good articles and have everything ready to be publish for my new website. the new site is foccused on education. Also the website is ready to go, I am going to spend 8 hrs a day for next 30 days on this website. (240 hrs) in SEO, linkbuilding, marketing etc. I need fellow members to guide me to come up with a game plan. I want to make sure my time is well spent. At the startup stage, what activities should i focus on?. How much time should i give per day to each activities. what should be my expectation / goals for the first 3 months. Should i do link building, facebook, directory submission or article submission, blog posting???? Guide me pls
Spending 2 hours for 4 months will be more effective. Sometimes its not possible to rush things up to get better results. If you write 2 articles per day for 4 months instead of doing 8 per day for 1 month you will have much better results because you become more stable (for search engines and real visitors).
All of those things are important. But let relevance be your watchword. In other words, seek sites that are related to yours - ideally those with better PR - and get your links from them. One of the best ways, in my opinion, is via Guest Posting on relevant blogs. Will
4 hours per day is enough to do marketing... first you should focus on updating your website every day a new post would be refreshing...then combined with internet marketing (linkbuilding and others) since you have a tutorial website then email marketing would be very good for your website..
8 hrs is enough to spend on internet. You should starts with Article and directory submission as they took time for approval after that do any thing you want it will surely gain traffic.
I'm going to have to agree with Will on this one. You should try to do a high amount of guest posting, plus seek out opportunities to syndicate articles into Ezines, newsletters, and mailings which go out to potential customers. You can find good places to syndicate your articles by searching where quality articles from EZA are being used. I'm not sure who you "educational" material is targeting, but you should start thinking about the most effective ways to reach this audience. Ask these questions and then find the answers: What publications do they read? Do they participate in any particular forums, groups, or social sites? What are the key phrases they may be using on Twitter or Facebook I can search for and use? Do any large organizations regularly send out emails, newsletters, or other materials to my audience? If so, how much does an ad cost? Do they accept guest articles? Are there any large seminars or events my audience attends? Should I be there, or can I get an ad in program, or on the events website? Who has complementary products I can cross-promote with? Should I have affiliates?
Even if it means more work, in order for your articles to be effective they must be published in sites that are related to your niche. And better yet, the articles should have 2nd tier links pointing to them. This is the reason why more and more website owners choose to publish via a "Guest Post" on a high authority website, this way second tier link building has already been done and your SEO would be most effective.
