If ever I doubt my reasons for hating Republicans, I come here. I am so pleased that at least half of America in no way resemble them and may that half live long, happy and wonderful lives.
It's amazing to me that he would even start talking about the economy, as if anyone would care. He needs to stick to what he's good at. And all of the people that hated him, will all of the sudden love him after the endorsement. NO-bama needs all the help he can get.
Actually, the left granted him a pardon for "lying" to the UN to get us into Iraq2 after he endorsed Barack Obama in 2008. Its pure comedy how the left is completely willing to ignore/forgive practically anything if you stump for their candidates. Charlie Rangle, overtly evading taxes and illegally abusing New York's rent control laws made for the poor. No problem. Mega wealthy John Kerry, Nancy Pelosi, and the rest actively working with Super PACS to "corrupt the political process", while condemning Super PACS out of the other side of their mouth, no problem. I tend to be more pragmatic. Powell was a great general with a grate strategy, who did a bang up job in 91. Its a shame he advised Bush I to leave Saddam in power, or thousands of Kurds who helped us in that conflict might be alive, along with millions of Iraqis who later butchered each other in sectarian violence in 2006. He, like the Bush admin, sold his perceptions on Iraq in 2002 to the UN and the public. He is a big boy. He saw the same intelligence Bush did and came to the same conclusions. For him to peddle the idea that he was somehow duped, or for him to look at the past with the rose colored glasses of hind sight, as if he should have known then what he knows now, doesn't say good things about his mental toughness. I guess that is the classic definition of a liberal. I don't buy into the idea he is voting for Obama for his race, at least not consciously.
