A video explaining why no woman should ever trust or vote for Mitt Romney, Paul Ryan, or any other Republican; because of their extreme views on abortion and women's rights:
I think this concept is insulting, that a woman's main concern in this election should be readily available abortions. No. My main concern is the economy. Did you know about half of the US considers themselves pro-life, many of them women? Anyway, I think Romney is pro life. However, he doesn't have intentions to declare abortion illegal.
Bingo. The liberals(and a few of the hard right) are finding it enraging now to watch Mitt move to the center, but this is our political process. You have to survive a year catering to the base to even get a shot at running for the brass ring.
Nearly four in ten - 39% - of women said abortion is the most important issue in this election. Source: http://www.gallup.com/poll/158069/women-swing-states-gender-specific-priorities.aspx
My hope is the Obama team will be really enraged on election day. In the poll, they didn't phrase the question "What do you consider the most important issue in this election?" Instead, they phrased the question "What is the most important issue for women in this election?" There is so much labeling of certain issues as being "women's issues." I think the way the question was phrased makes for erroneous results. Besides, it just defies common sense (as it's presented). There are Pro-life and pro-choice represented by about 50% pro-life and 41% pro-choice in the population. Let's say the poll reflects that, it would mean every single pro-choice woman respondent is naive enough to believe Romney is going to run out and make abortion illegal in the US. And, not just that, they prize widely available abortions over a prosperous economy, feeding their families, plentiful jobs...etc. It doesn't make sense. p.s. Here it is, it was the phrasing of the question. When, instead of asking "What is the most important issue for women in this election?" Women were asked "What is the most important problem facing this country today?" Women said it was the economy.
So if Obama changes his stance he's flip-flopping but Romney's flip-flopping is politics? Aaah, I get it now.
No, you don't get it now. Its all politics. All of it, even the idiotic term flip flopping, which is simply a way of saying the person is untrustworthy. I think those who bet on Romney to be a fierce pro-life advocate and a guy who will go after Roe V. Wade either sold themselves or bought a bill of goods. You can look at Romney's actual record (not his words) and know he isnt that guy, in the same way you could look at Rick Santorum and know that he IS that guy, even if Ricky were to swear to the moon that he would never touch abortion law. I was (and remain) a fan of George W. Bush, but his abortion related idiocy on stem cell research set this country back nearly a decade scientifically, and his spending made him look like a Democrat. My guess is Romney wants to leave abortion exactly where it is at, which I believe coincides with popular American view. Sure there are a rabid 10% that want women to be able to execute the child as it crowns, and another 10% that want every effort to protect a zygote even if it means the mother might die, but do we really need to let those 20% of people be driving the agenda this election cycle? Its idiotic. Obama's flip flopping I find quite a bit scarier, since he often seems to have no core set of beliefs. First he is anti-gay marriage, but becomes pro gay marriage when it becomes politically necessary? Do you think he really is pro gay marriage right now? I doubt it. First he has a strong stance on illegal immigration, but when he needs more votes, he passes the dream act by executive order. You think he really believes in it? I doubt it. A guy who will actually pass legislation for the purposes of catering to a specific demographic for political purposes instead of his own beliefs is a guy you don't want in office. Obama said hiding behind executive privilege to avoid transparency in government was evil when Bush was in office, but the man actually extended executive privilege to his attorney general to keep him from having to testify when it came out that our government was selling automatic weapons to drug cartels.,
Nope, because since the Republicans took over the House of Representatives in 2010, they have attacked a woman's right to choose more than any other House of Representatives in recent history. They campaigned on "creating jobs," and then came into power and tried to pass 30+ bills limiting reproductive rights, abortion, and contraception. I just find it so ridiculous when so-called "small government conservatives" want to control every aspect of a woman's reproductive rights. It is really creepy! How about you just worry about your own lives instead of trying to control another woman's life?
Right to choose ? You mean the unrestricted right to kill the beating heart of child ? You libtards are so desperate for reelection that you'd kill millions just to stay in power.
I watched Ed Schultz on MSDNC the other night lose his mind over the fact that Obama has totally blown his once solid lead with women. schultz was spitting at the camera while screaming "Women... What are you thinking... Do you want these men managing your vagina!!?" Always entertaining to see a creepy old guy telling women he respects them SO much that he will tell them how to vote, for the good of their vagina. I'm guessing the Democrats have a vastly inflated imagination if they think that con job will fly. What dumbasses. I'm sure having Ed Schultz TELL women how to vote in the tone normally used by an abusive spouse is gonna be reeeeal convincing. Great idea guys. Onc again liberals prove they are incapable of recognizing irony if it bit them on the ass.
