LinkBuilding techniques post penguin era

    I'm a newbie here,

    just wondering about what strategies can be adopted in the post penguin era for link buiding,

    i have posted this on other forums too, i would like to see some fresh suggestions from here as well.

    basically i'm a graphic designer.

    unique content, do follow links at same categories unique contented sites are the main thing now for your site. If you are following these 2 things then penguin nor panda will count a negative point. Never.

    Before starting any new link building strategy, you should have a read the following posts from two respected people in the White Hat industry:

    Link Building Means Earning “Hard Links” Not “Easy Links”

    What does it mean? It means market your content, rather than try to manipulate. If you look deeper in SEOmoz's blogs (not just the main blug, but also YOUmoz), there are a lot of helpful articles on how to market it and earn links.

    Content and on-page SEO are always great but links are still King. Just be sure to keep the exact match anchor text to a minimum and leverage social to keep your link profile looking natural.
