I've read a lot about Facebook, Twitter etc but nothing about Pinterest. I've learnt recently Pinterest brings in some interesting traffic when you pin images from your website onto Pinterest along with an accurate description. I've found this strategy works best when writing articles, with an image to match the article you can then "pin" the articles image to Pinterest with a description (describing your article) to one of the numerous Pinterest "boards". When Pinterest users see your image, clicking the image redirects them to its source (your website). Just thought I'd share this technique. I've been using it for a week now and my traffic has increased by 60% albeit it is a new website.
Thanks for the heads up. I just join Pinterest on the weekend and have to admit is pretty fun. Still learning the ropes though.
Its good, by embedding their button into your site, you then pass three parameters. The url, the image (to advertise your product/article/page) and a short description.
I haven't found any good ways so far to monetize pinterest. If you find absolutely anything, let me know... Thanks
I have used PInterest but no traffic redirected to my website. I have a Casino related website and i am using my personal profile with Casino board to share pins with link and proper description. Tell me how can i increase traffic? Thanks in advance.
Majority of Pinterest's user base are ladies, so I guess this is the reason why Pinterest might not be a viable option for your niche. ;-)
Thanks. I haven't heard a lot about Pinterest, but I am going to sign up and give it my best try. Hopefully your tip here will help me out.
Pinterest is great for topics relating to females (clothing, jewelry etc) due to the high percentage of female users on there. It can work well for other niches if you search for groups on there that share the same interests.
pinterest is really cool. i think one way to get more traffic is by submitting eye catching images plus awesome description
Pinterest is where we can only share images. I know it brings traffic. But I came to know about the whole ting now.
