One easy way to create a lot more US hating assholes is to elect Mitt Romney. Couldn't be a worse move made in the eyes of the rest of the world imho, allies included. Watch how fast your mate fails in every thing he tries. Though we both know that ain't really gonna happen. :D

    Long live the (anti-war-minded) U.S.A. !!! - O ba ma - O ba ma !! :)

Good ole Mitt even managed to upset America's greatest ally - Britain. Pity I'm busy during the Foreign Policy debate tomorrow - it'll be hilarious. Hope those arsehole non-US countries aren't listening.

Romney is getting elected. Sorry if that offends you (ok, not really) but we arent going to keep our own economy and those that are affected by it captive to this socialist dork just to please somebody else.

Maybe you can find another country to play with... But we've got enough on our plate without worrying about pleasing the leftists on the other side of he globe. If it makes you feel better, we wont tell you who to elect in Australia. Glad you love Obama, you're welcome to him in a few months, cause our crew is tired of his antics.

You must be looking at odd polls, cause he's been hemmorhaging potential voters. Huffpost is an obama fan site.

No kidding. I think Obama had the lead in September, yet, Romney has been steadily gaining all of October. I just checked the latest Gallup poll.

I've already voted by mail (for Romney).

A picture is worth a thousand words. US citizens aren't allowed to bet on US elections and Intrade wont allow you to fund an account from a US credit card, so most of their data represents the sentiment of foreigners on US elections. Comedy to see Bob cheerleading an idea that runs against all the data, including the opinions of non-US citizens.

I find it hilarious that people attack Romney for not giving his plan, but Obama has yet to tell anyone what his plans are for his second term.

Other than the ridiculous: "I need 4 more years"..

Not sure why he wants 4 more years given he mostly played hooky during the 4 he had. He likes being the president, just hates doing the work. Then again Michelle got to go on taxpayer funded vacations to the tune of about $10mil... Probably told him he has to. I wouldnt wanna cross that one.

Its good to be the king.

Hard to say whether Bob Schieffer/CBS is as in the tank for Obama as CNN. In the last few weeks, CNN has dropped any guise of impartiality. I guess they felt it was their role to serve as Obama support, since he couldn't bring his teleprompter up on stage with him.

The elite capitalists simply LOVE Obama!

Obama has received more in campaign donations from Wall Street than all previous Presidents COMBINED! Why would they do that if they didn't like him?

And Obama's secret offshore bank account in the Cayman islands is filled with Obama's own plunderings!

But don't let these facts get in the way of your mindlessness. Please, continue to be a political tool, for our own amusement.

    Worth Repeating

It is indeed unfortunate that the voices of the extremist right wing support group take this statement and twist it into an attack on the person's opinion, than further distort it by slandering the opinion and assigning it to people who aren't American citizens.

In fact the most articulate, knowledgeable, insightful, perspective of this sort not only comes from an American but one with more insights and experience on this topic than virtually anyone, having seen Congress act up close for 28 years. Furthermore the person who shares this perspective was a life long Republican. More specifically and more germane this person has been a SENIOR ADVISER to House and Senate Republicans on Budget issues for 16 years until he retired in 2011.

Mike Lofgren left Congress, disgusted with his own party and described them as an "apocalyptic cult". He strongly believes that the current GOP is solely dedicated to the extreme wealthy, uses deficit arguments for a cynical basis, simply to regain power, and aligned with the radical Christian Right, that the wealthy finance to push forward policies that will be destructive to the US.

He wrote a revealing book that got tremendous coverage when it was published last year. It rips both parties, but it saves its most virulent attacks on the current state of the GOP and how it turned extraordinarily conservative, primarily since Obama was elected.

The opinion by Engkusplus above is held by many people, including many Americans, and has been better articulated with more keen insights, by somebody who was a lifelong Republican, and has more insights into the GOP than every commentator here combined.

I'd suggest the Right Wing supporters who are slandering Engkusplus, simply for possibly not being American stick to the issue and the message, not the messenger.

Attacking the messenger is a typical ploy by those that have no response to the message itself.

David - I've pointed it out before. Attempting to marginalize whomever you're speaking to by adding "extremist" is not a sign that you're in a strong position. Less shrill please.

His opinion is also shared by the occupy movement. Does that add or detract credibility? As you like to point out, not all opinions are created equal. Naturally, I disagree with your opinion on the merits of my views. No surprise there.

Ahmadinijad has a message too. Perhaps we should discuss it. Seriously, the guy has not shown back up to defend his views. I wish he would, if only for entertainment value.

So you are saying Obama's attacks on Romney last night are indicative he has no response and no message of his own? Glad to see we agree.

Where have you been man? I took your glaring absence from this forum on the days running up to this election as a concession that your boy is a loser. I figured you would be in here touting his record on the economy or his record on domestic energy policy or perhaps his record on national security or his record on the deficit and debt.

Thinking about it, I can see why you would want to avoid discussing those issues. I miss you man. Lets talk about anything. Pick a topic. How about Big Bird with a Bayonet and a Binder. Whatever makes you happy man!

@Rob: Read some of the comments by the author I cited. He has more in depth perspective than any commentator out there. He does have a "point of view". Obviously. It developed while watching the GOP evolve. Now he describes it as an apocaliptic cult. That is severe.

@O-nation. I miss you too man. You still need to take my course. Now that you have saved money by not giving anything to your candidate du jour, and have saved money on a car, you finally have the time to invest in yourself and take one of my courses. Then we can rap and drink scotch all day.

The believable polls suggest a very close election.

We will see what we will see. Being bombastic like Saddam Hussein as you like to do, usually doesn't get you anywhere but being caught in a stinkin ratty little hole in the ground looking and smelling like a madman. :D
