Redirect main domain Will effect subdomain in Old Domain htaccess

If I Redirect Olddomain.com to Newdomain.com just main Domain using Htaccess is this redirect will effect on subdomain in Olddomain ? I will not Redirect Old Subdomains to new Domain

I want to redirect aa.com to bb.com without subdomains of aa.com I will leave subdomains of aa.com on aa.com bb.com will contain main domain of aa.com is this redirection will effect subdomains on aa.com
