What would be the best way to rank my website?

    What would be the best way to rank my URL Shortener for the keywords "url shortener""link shortener""shorten url""shorten link"?

    I'm not really good at SEO, but I've gotten some help from a friend and he kindly gave me a guide on how to optimize it, and I did exactly what was mentioned in the guide, yet I cannot find my URL Shortener when searching for those 4 keywords/phrases at all.

    The weird part is that my URL Shortener has an Alexa Global Ranking of 54,436, yet no search results on the Alexa page.

    I was told that blog commenting would rank my website, but how would Google know what keyword to rank? This is really confusing me... :S

    You have to choose right domain name relate to the tittle of site and then choose right keyword.

    Thank you for your reply, I have thought about that, but to be honest, I don't have enough funding to hire an SEO company. If I did then I would have done so from the start.

    Creating a new website can be challenging for sure. The biggest mistake many people with a new website make is trying to generate traffic that is not relevant to their website. This increases the bounce rate that sends a message to the search engines that their site is of little interested and although they got more traffic their rankings have dropped.

    Thank you for replying, but everything on my website is custom made by me, and written by me and all is relevant to my website, yet I can't find my website anywhere when searching for the keywords/phrases mentioned in my first post.

    to get high rank for your niche you have to work on both onpage and offpage seo.
    your key words , meta tag, your content and header tags all matters a lot.
    with your effective link building technique you can achieve your goal.

    I have done onpage SEO for all of my webpages. offpage SEO is the problem for me at the moment because I don't know what to do that's why I created this thread.
    I don't have a link building technique, it'd be nice to have one, but I don't at the moment.
