Marketing Ideas needed for Youtube Marketing

Hi guys,

I would like to receive some opinions about Youtube Marketing. I am promoting a new business from scratch and I am into a few Social traffic sources, being Youtube one of those.

I never created videos before, so this is new to me, a good and big new challenge as I like to say.
I've been researching these last couple of days about how to use Youtube as a marketing tool, but I would like to hear your thoughts about this.

I read in one topic here at DP, that a video made by a presentation and an audio attached to it converts more than a personalized video with a face talking to the camera. What do you think?

Also, once I created a video with valuable content on it, what's the best way to attract viewers to it? is it enough by targetting a keyword, and place tags of long viewed videos? What would you do at this stage?

If you have resources to read, and learn new skills with this marketing method, please feel free to share as I would like to learn everything I can about YT videos and how to do marketing properly with them.

Don't be afraid to ask video viewers to subscribe or follow you. Backup these requests with captions linking to your channel page. You really have to push to get subscribers or referrals to your website. Views alone a pointless if there is no action associated with that traffic.

Integrating your videos with other social/content channels is really important, not just for traffic, but getting good links that will help their ranking too.

And it's really important that you optimise all the titles and descriptions for your videos, otherwise they won't rank in YouTube (or Google) for popular searches.
Try not to over keyword stuff your categories either. But doing these right will get you lots of views from other videos by appearing on the side bar.

Okay, everyone knows about Youtube right? Post a video, get seen, watch others, have fun. For content creators this is almost like the frontier’s edge. Video marketing on Youtube gets you on the same grand stage as any Kardashian.
