haha, well if you have a brand-new blog with little low-quality traffic, and the region is not the top-1 in the world, you won't certainly make a lot of money. This is not the matter of whether you're working with a CPM network or not. From my personal point of view, if you opt for a reputable ad network, and you have something to offer, either as a publisher or as an advertiser, you will benefit from it. Dunno about Bidvertiser that someone here was talking about, but as far as I'm convinced, you shouldn't rely upon the network that receives so many negative comments. As for the mentioned Epom Market, my personal practice with it is absolutely satisfactory.

100% true, with thousands of impression or unique visitor, you earn few pennies, most of the time not even few pennies, it sucks, instead of cpm ads, I would rather not put any ads

CPM Fun is offering me $0.09 CPM, consider not bad. Most important is its ads load fast nowadays and no popunder ads. BTW, I still pending my first payment at the end of month.

But just wondering why CPM Fun's thread was deleted again in DP? This shld be the 3rd CPM Fun's threads that got deleted. Any reason? It's good info to new publishers to read its good and bad comments, but just dunno why they were deleted...

Seravi, it is so simple: add 3 banners to every page of your site (different dimensions, of course). If you have many pages, and your visitors are browsing many pages on your site, they will generate you many impressions browsing 20-50 pages on every visit - instead of opening only 1-2 pages and leaving your site! So it is not a special secret, it's only this: make your visitors being curious and browsing many-many pages!

No, your earnings would be different. CPM stands for Cost Per Thousand Impression (in Latin Mille (M) means thousand). If you're unhappy with your current network, I suggest you check Epom too.

It depends on the geography and niche you are catering to. There may be networks that may be promising high eCPMs, but remember that as an advertiser, I am going to only go with the market rate. If there are two networks offering popunder ads, why would I pick a network that demands $13 CPM over another that demands $3 CPM if I know both of them are going to target the same audience over similar sites? Such abnormally high CPMs do not work over the long run.

It may happen in a monopoly like Google Adsense. But in those cases, the ad network itself is going to claim a higher share of the earnings considering you do not have much leverage as a publisher in such cases.

All ad networks are flexible when it comes to CPM's you just have to make sure you are negotiating with the right person. We deal with certain publishers that won't take less than £32CPM and advertisers are happy to pay that because the sites have a proven record in actually converting.

Where current ad networks are concerned there are so many and they are so intertwined that the rates publishers tend to get these days are perhaps cut about 3-5 times before they reach you. We tend to realise rates between £0.40 and £1.10 at the moment but these are with high quality publishers with the majority coming from UK and US.

Most publishers will also find that their CPM rate start well with certain groups before they begin to decline, the main reason is that many ad networks will look to hook you with a tempting offer and slowly start to decrease in the hope that you can't be bothered to switch to another.

If you have a quality website delivering at least 1m uniques a month we may be able to help you generate higher CPM's so please get in touch. Bluesoda(dot)co(dot)uk
