How many of us Indians really have 3 years+ experience in SEO?

Indians have been late starters as internet access was really expensive till 3-4 years back.

The pay must be good for sure.

Google took a few fresh engg from NITs two months back and offered a starting package of 10 lac a year. These dot com companies are cash rich and don't mind paying some extra money to get the best talent.

I find it weird that they need an degree for SEO. After all SEO is still more of a self learn kind of thing and having a degree doesnt mean you would do better SEO..

Come on now. $5/day isn't much, even in India! :D
You can make more than $5/day here on DP. No need to work for Yahoo for that price.
