Would 'newscience' would rank for both 'news' and 'science'?

Given keywords 'science news', would such a domain name (newscience.com) help SEO for both, one, or neither keyword? Note the contraction where 'news' and 'science' form 'newscience' (common 's'). I doubt it, but want confirmation.

    Hm......

Well it would have, if you didn't had millions of other sites on those words.

Yeah, its competitive. But I just answered my question. Searching for 'news scientist' on Google, only the 'news' part of the url is bolded (Recognized as a keyword). Oh well.

It may help rank for 'new science' but not likely for 'science news' ...and what is a news scientist anyways? a person whom studies the news?

also don't fall into the trap of thinking because G bolded something that it is part of the ranking algo, it is merely highlighting the relative terms in the response.

Remember Google Bowling? Search 'Failure' and see if it is in the PAGE or URL for GWB's site.... :D
