Best forums/sites for selling private ad space? What works for you

    Hey,

I just wanted to know where do you think is the best place to post your private ad positions.

    Link, banner etc

There are a lot of forums online that are available to post available positions, but where works best for you for sales?

What do you think works best for selling private ad space? Simply posting available spots, contacting buyers privately etc.

This is something I'd like to know too. I know there are blogging places you can sign up to write for them, and that is a form of selling adspace if you have an established blog.

I actually just signed up on warrior forum a few weeks ago, first forum I have registered on for years.

That's was why I was asking this, I didn't even know about the site so maybe there are other good sites for both selling ad space and content :)

I would probably say Warrior Forum, or this one...never promoted ad space on a forum myself :)

What is your traffic statistics? If you have more than 40000 visits monthly you can promote on a site that I use. If you want to know what that is, just shoot me a PM. Don't waste my time though if you traffic is not anywhere near 40,000.

I wouldn't waste your time with 100k+ visitors working with someone with that attitude for business.

Well I wasn't meaning to be rude John D, but you have to realize the ad places are the same way. I was letting him know what it would take to get into this Ad Network. I can give him the link and where to go, but it would really waste his time as his applications would be all be denied. I guess I did come off as a little rude but it was unintentional, I just want to make sure he wasn't wasting his time so I do apologize for that OP but what I said stands. This place I would be telling you about requires you have 40K + of traffic and it was late in the AM when I posted it so instead of don't waste your time, I said don't waste my time. So anyways, take what I said how you wish but I am telling you that it was in the best interest of the OP else i wouldn't have posted it here.

Simplest way to start is to use google adsense.

I would start with google adsense, then see which sites are preforming the best. Once you have this small list I would then do some homework like finding related sites and seeing who is advertising there. Once you notice someone who is advertising on a number of sites I would approach them. Then repeat this process again.

Digital Point and Warrior Forum are two that I frequent. Another is Abestweb. I try to look up blogs within the niche my site is in and post my ads there, if the site owner allows for it.

Hope that helps. Have a good day!
