Have a 15" laptop and my desktop uses a 21" widescreen...I was going to go bigger, but I dropped down in size for a faster response time and for better resolution, 1000:1 ratio, 5ms response time, plus it rotates to portrait view and has a 4 port usb hub on it.
I think that nowadays LCD monitors are getting more and more popular. The price is also affordable now as compared to the past. Seldom see CRT monitors promotion.
IMO it's better to have two 15" or 17" monitors than one 19"+ monitor. Once you have dual (or triple) screens, you can never go back!
i'm running two 23" plasmas on the bottom and 2 21" plasmas on top for a sweet quad setup. Had this for about 8 months now and i wouldn't give it up for the world.
Spend most of my time on my 15 in laptop. Craving a 17 inch laptop. I do have a couple 17 in desktops setup but dont use them a lot.
If anyone's interested, I have a 17" LCD monitor in perfect quality for sale Here are the details of it http://www.clubmac.com/clubmac/shop...source=cwbfroogle&adcampaign=email,cwbfroogle I'm selling it for $300 if anyone is interested.
Sounds great.. I can see quite a number of DP users having dual setup. I am actually planning to have a dual setup as well but will have to save up for it.
yeah, dual is definitely the way to go. I had a 17" LCD and a 19" CRT for a while but when I upgraded my whole computer, I decided it was time to get matching dual LCDs -- and bigger. It's worth every penny you pay for the monitors. It makes life 10000x better.
