..in...out...shake it all about... Well, I have a website that is a few months old in terms of when I started adding content and link building, but about a year old in age, since I bought it. Recently I had a very successful link bait, which got me a few very nice powerful links. Maybe this was to be the start of my Google love, I thought... A few days ago I started to appear in Google for my major search terms, in positions of around 20 to 50. This started in a few data centers, and over a couple of days crept into all data centers. Very nice, I thought.... Then, the day after that (last night), my site suddenly disappeared from Google in all data centers for these search terms. It's funny how when you get something good from Google it creeps in slowly, and something bad happens in a flash! Anyway, can anyone explain this phenomenon? Is is a sign of good things to come? Very soon, or in the distant future? Or was it possibly just a glitch? Any advice?
Thats exactly what the Google index is all about. My advice is dont waste your time watching your site do the Hokey Cokey with Google as it can get very fustrating and you'll get no work done. Just keeping working on your site as normal and it will stick (sooner or later is another thing).
