    There is no such thing as a PR associated with a domain only. PR can only be maintained if the domain has a website. As soon as the website is removed, or the domain is expired/re-registered that PR becomes a history. Google immediately makes it PR 0 in the next update.

    You are wrong, my drop-caught domains survived a lot of updates without returning to PR0. It's just how you use the domain, if you use it for networks don't expect it to last long.
