Selling High Quality News Site with 4500+ UV per month

I am going to sale my news site as I am unable to continue maintaining it. It has the following features:

1. 4500+ Monthly Unique Visitors
2. PageRank 1
3. Quality backlink including Wikipedia link
4. Alexa Rank: 359728
5. Unique content(total 318 articles as of October 2, 2012)
6. Domain Age: 4 month+
7. 48.7 percent Organic traffic in September.

I did not monetize the site. I just sold few Ads. That's it.

By the way, the site is filled with great content and someone even used one of the news stories as a reference for Wikipedia. P.S. Reference Number 6.

any reason the traffic from Bangladesh is so high?

 

I wrote all the posts. There are 318 articles and each one of the posts is Copyscape Premium passed and of top notch quality.

 

A portion of it is organic. Rest are bought.

 

I am from Bangladesh. That's the reason.

Traffic mainly comes from U.S., Bangladesh, Canada, great Britain, India etc.

Checking at SEOmoz, using opensiteexplorer, the domain appears to have just 12 unique linking root domains.

In this post (http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=2516354) you state that you are applying for Google News approval - That was back in July, but the site isn't indexed in Google News, did it get refused?

I might still be interested, but with low backlinks, a high % of traffic coming from Bangladesh (shouldn't matter where you are from, anyone can build a site for any target country!), I wouldn't be willing to go anywhere close to $900, especially not with Zero revenue.

If you want $900, I would suggest putting adsense on the site for a couple of months or something, to generate some revenue stats - Otherwise you would be looking at about $150 to $200 I feel. - That said, best of luck with the same though

The Domain has 67 Unique backlinks according to Google Webmaster tool.
The site got refused for Google News.

I am not cutting back the price since just the amount of content I put in price more than $700. Plus, I did not target the site for any country. The times I posted content made it look like more traffic coming from Bangladesh. Other than that most traffic came from US, Great Britain, Canada etc.

I am trying to sell the site now. So, won't be putting AdSense now.
