Using idle and hidden Adsense ads: good or bad?

I used some idle and hidden Adsense ads in two of my blogs. But after a few weeks, my earning seems dropping. I'm not sure whether dropping earning is because of using "idle and hidden" ads or any other factors.


Total visitors and Pageviews also remain similar.


Pls share your thoughts and practical experience of using Adsense ads (styles, formats & re-using idle/hidden ads as well as editing Ads styles etc.)

pls help me in my earning.

Is't really harmful? or violation of TOS or guidelines of adsense?

 

You can do that with the iframe dude.... ya but you have to remove and replace them constantly all the time..... But be care ful before the google eyes... Some time I use the clickjacking script... its going good in one of my adsense acc..

"Idle ads" are ads that are not used for a long time in any site, ADSENSE marks it as "idle ads".
"hidden ads" also disappeared from the Adsense's "My Ads" interface, if you hide an ad to go "hide".

I want to ask can I re-use those ads?
Does it affect in earning?

 

Yes you can use them, no it won't effect earnings...

Sorry I was just about to ask for clarification on what you meant but you answered it 100%. Yes you can use those ads without any problem whatsoever, I had a 2012 forum with 100k uniques per day and it still kept putting some of mine in that category. It's just like saying "they are asleep" but not penalising you if you wake them up!

 

Hidden? you means you blend the ads with content or you use display:none to hide ads?
