I am going to build new website with Joomla. I must learn all about it first but I will read all comments in section Joomla in this forum.
Thank you for your comment. And maybe your English is not good, neither. Try to use neither instead of also or too in negative sentence. Colour theme was chosen especially to match symbolism of website name. I can agree the header is not perfect but why I have mentioned this many times before.
I agree...good job, given the limitations of weebly. You should be able to do even better things on a different platform. I know you said you would try Joomla and Wordpress and decide between the two, but I would strongly encourage you to just go with Wordpress, unless you just have time to fill and want something to do. There's a much steeper learning curve with Joomla, and in my opinion, it's much less user-friendly than Wordpress. There's a reason that the vast majority of Internet marketers use Wordpress...it's just easier to learn and more versatile to use. Just my 2 cents...hope it helps.
Thank you for so nice and very valuable comment. I appreciate it very much. It is not big problem for me to start with Joomla. I have good background with html and css coding I will probably manage to learn it pretty quickly. Unless you suggest WordPress is better platform than Joomla.
Thank you for your comment. Do you think the contact number will help me to boost my website much quicker?
Thank you for your comment. I know the header of my website could be done more professionally but weebly has some limits in header's designing.
I personally think Wordpress is better, partly for it's ease of use, partly for the unending options of themes and plugins, both free as well as paid, that are available. If you don't plan to ever sell the site, then it really doesn't matter I suppose, and if you're more comfortable with Joomla, certainly, go with that one. But if you think there might ever be a time you'd want to sell it, I believe having it on the Joomla platform will be a deterrent to many people. A local business here is having me find someone for them who can take their site off of Joomla and make it Wordpress based, simply because Joomla is just too difficult for the average person to easily work with. Maybe others here in the forum will chime in and offer their opinions too, to give you some additional viewpoints to consider. But of course the bottom line is, you need to use what you're best at and most comfortable with.
Nicely done. It looks clean, interesting and what you are doing is really cool. Mind you I used a computer - I suppose your theme adapts well enough to a mobile version?
Once I have tried to build up website with WordPress but I could not understand how to start, where to look for its themes (templates)? Is there any good manual for beginners in WordPress? I don't know Joomla yet, neither but I have heard from some people that Joomla is better for business purpose website and WordPress is better for just blogs. I did not try none of them so I have not my personal experience with them at all. Well, I would like to start with Joomla first, and then maybe I will also try WordPress.
There are all kinds of tutorials available for Wordpress...just do a Google search. Lots of videos available too, on YouTube, about how to set up a Wordpress site. I wish you the best of luck with whatever you decide to pursue, and I hope you'll keep us posted as to your progress.
Thank you for your lovely words. I would like to be friends with you. What is your name? I will surely keep posted what I do.
