How I should market this site?

Hello everyone, I just recently developed this site I think would prove to be quite successful provided I get the right marketing strategy for it. Here is my site:

    www.pyrADmid.com

Catchy name I think, anyways I wanted to know the cheapest ways to get some exposure. I was thinking adwords, ebay, and just word of mouth through the various forums I post at. Any other ideas? Thanks

Nice site. I think you need some strong media exposure. Try a strong prweb press realease (well written and > $200).

try increasing your page rank by buying links, articles, press releases, directory submissions.

Well, you could try to partner with Alex Tew, the founder of Million Dollar Homepage, offer him a signficant fee to market the crap ouf this page to build it's PR to about 8 or 9 so that people would actually buy ad spots.

You may want to put a stats page that shows that incoming links, out bound traffic, and PR are growing as spots are bought from the lower levels towards the top and show your plan for maintaining the value of the links once the pyramid is full, the novelty of the idea wears off, and traffic to the site completely dries up.

    1) Write or hire a good freelance writer for articles you can submit to social bookmark websites -- example: digg.

    2) Try to obtain many one-way links by creating an template for an e-mail to send out to other webmasters -- make it look personal and tell them how you admire their website, etc.

    3) Write or hire a freelance writer to create an excellent press release and to submit it through PRweb or many free distributors.

Your site is very nice and it can grow easily with some name branding.

Great suggestion, any idea the best place to hire a writer like that? I dont have a lot of money to spend as of right now, I wanted to do a lot of it off trading for spaces assuming the site gets big it might be a better value for them anyways.

Hehe, digitalpoint. you can probably get some cheap services here rather than going to a 3rd party network such as Rentacoder.com or Scriptlance.com.
