Domain authority measures the ranking strength of entire domain in web, Page Authority measures the strength of individual page. You can measure Domain Authority using Open Site Explorer or MozBar. SEOmoz calculate these metrics by combining different link metrics (linking root domains, number of total links, mozRank, mozTrust, etc.) into a one single score.

Most article directories are PR0 on the interior pages but just because an interior page has a PR0 doesn't mean the domain or link don't have authority. I think Google factors in the domain rank when valuating links from inner pages.

Page Authority, the greater the potential for that individual page to rank well in search results that's called PA and Domain Authority represents SEOmoz's best prediction about how a website will perform in search engine rankings. Use Domain Authority when comparing one site to another or tracking the “strength” of your website over time.

    Hello

    Fathima

As I know that, the Page Authority measures the ranking strength of a single page, where as domain authority measures the strength of sub domains and the entire domain.Page Authority measures the ranking strength of a single page, where as domain authority measures the strength of sub domains and the entire domain.

DA is a measurement of the power of a domain name and is one of many search engine ranking factors. Domain authority is based on three factors: Age, Popularity, and Size of a domain.

While PA (page authority) just based on single page :)

Domain authority is a ranking factor in Google which measures a website/domain's authority by the number of credible sites linking back to it. Page Authority on the other hand is a measure of a page's likelihood to rank highly in the SERPs. The higher the Page Authority, the more like the page will rank highly in the SERPs.

    Hi

In case of domain authority toll tells about all the web page authority combine at a time by checking the ranking for all. If we are checking page authority then we will get the individual web page ranking and other links weight.

    Hope you understand.

Domain Authority represents how well a web page will rank on a domain. The higher value of any Domain Authority, the greater chances for an individual page on that domain to rank well, especially home page.

Page Authority is the likelihood of a single page to rank well, regardless of its content as per SEOMoz’s article. The higher the Page Authority value, it will get the greater potential for that individual page to rank in Search Engines.

    Hi,

Domain Authority is based on the strength of the whole domain and Page Authority is based on the strength of the individual page.

    hello friend...

Domain Authority measures the predictive ranking strength of entire domains or subdomains.

Page Authority measures the strength of the individual page.
