    what???

Your auction has NO RESERVE, which means that you have no specific price that must be met.
I already got a message from DP that I won the auction!

i didn't set the RESERVE price, it don't mean i don't have minimum price, i think you will not find the domain seller that sell PR2 domain with good name with $1

that's basically the point, you did not set a reserve price, which is tantamount to not having a minimum price in mind!
Digital Point would not be giving me that message "Congratulating me" as the winner of this domain if only you put a Reserve Price.
I also won in your PR 5 auction!

I got two emails from Digitalpoint congratulating me for winning the two auctions.

i have one question for you. if you sell your PR5 and PR2 domains, would you like to sell it for $1 each ? if your answer is not, so don't force me to sell these domains for $1

We are talking about rules here. You auction had no reserve price and I won! Period!

Now, as for you question, will I sell a PR 5 or PR 2 for $1, perhaps.
But if I auction a PR 5 starting at $1 and I don't want it sold for $1, I always put a reserve price.

Your fault is you did not put a Reserve Price!

lol..what kind of reasoning is that!
Putting a Reserve PRice is definitely optional and you did not correctly choose to put a Reserve Price.
Can't you see, Digitalpoint has even congratulated me for winning! Care to explain, why I got that message?

You have to know the rules for the auction so you won't have this kind of dispute. Anyway, you gotta to accept your fault here!
You are not following the rules!
    Dura lex sed lex!

But I won't insist on getting the domains. I consider this as an innocent fault by omission on your part. But please next time put a Reserve Price.

    Thanks.

    Krista

this is my thread, put the reserve price or not is my right. because there are the useful things that i got when i don't place the reserve price that i can't share here. anyway thanks for your advices. in other time, don't make offer for $1 for PR5 or PR2. believe me it is just wasting your times. good luck

there are these so called "rules", and DP has them, and as members we are obligated to follow.

for god sake, it is so hard to put a reserved price?.
put a reserved price so you would not be wasting people time.
i know you didn't want to reserved price to enticed ppl in buying your domain, but in this case it's a total fail.

it's not hard, but the are no prohibition, if i don't place the reserve price, it's absolutely optional. i think the BIN price is enough to show the price that i want, and i want to know how many people that interested with the domains :) if there are rule in DP that i must place Reserve Price i will do it, thanks for visiting my thread :)

yes i know it not a must to put reserved price, however dun you think is unethical and dishonest. put no reserved price on a domain when the price is too low, you decide to back out from selling. hope you understand :)

if you really adamant in doing this kind of auction. sooner or later it will affect you as a seller. btw postedhere had won the auction by right he should get the domain even though the price is too low. backing out right after he won the auction, i deem as unethical . that is my humble opinion. :)

    Here are some facts:

    1. The auction is a contract entered into by the seller and the buyer.
    2. In an auction with NO RESERVE PRICE, the highest bid is the winning bid.(This explains why I got the messages from DP here, and in my email congratulating me for winning the two auctions!)
    3. Your auctions did not indicate the Reserve Price.
    4. I won in your two auctions with no Reserve Price!
    5. You are not honoring the auction!

What is worst is you still cannot accept your fault! It's not about the PRICE, it's about me VALIDLY WINNING in your two auctions and yet here you are backing out and not selling the domains!

You know what, it is not hard to say/admit that you did not fully understand the concept of "Reserve Price", or that you perhaps forgot to put a "Reserve Price" or "Minimum Selling Price", and I would understand. But your case is just hopeless!

    Anyway, good luck!
