The look & feel fo your site is good. I also appreciate the categories. Though this for SEO people, you can add "OffPage Optimization" as a separate category.

 

its a good start but needs more customization. Maybe a new header/banner?

According to very good colors and nice selection of the icons but you should have a good header for your forum so it will look nice

There really needs to be content on the site. The fact that it is empty is very off-putting. This should be your main priority.
