We've had quite some good experiences with click2sell.eu.
Paypal is also quite nice, but not always good experiences with it.

PayPal, and then eJunkie for expanded features that are not easily available on PayPal and avoid fraud transactions. eJunkie is a paid service, but it worth it every penny. If you are selling digital products, I recommend Clickbank or Click2Sell.eu but you can go only with the simple yet effective button of "Order Now" of PayPal.

You should check out GRAYPAY. They have their own private gateway which allows companies to have lower fees over all. They work with many different industries.

    www.graypay.com 818-387-6735

    Hope this helps.

I had no problems with paypay except that once last year, a client ordered too many links from me requiring quick delivery and after 4 days automatically take his money back. It was a serious scam experience making me lose $300. I tried to fight sending paypal all the necessary information and proof but I never get help from Paypal.

Though for a startup it might be a good idea to go with a single provider like CCAvenue/EBS/Payu as you grow its important to build redundancy. Hence one should integrate with at least two payment gateways.
If you had to choose between CCavenue , Payu and EBS, go with CCavenue! It is is secure and supports to most of Bank's and it saves you from all the hassle. You can go through the website
dhost.com , they are resellers of payment gateways and help you to choose and integrate the payment gateway and also offers you to good prices with discounts.

Actually I am using Payza (previous Alertpay) near 1 year. But I did not have a problem to use it. So I think this is one of the good payment processor of virtual world.
