Everywhere I have checked shows the domain registered September 7, 2012 (THIS YEAR) and is basically 1 week old. Can you explain why you consider it aged.

Thanks for the question. I search for aged domains so they rank easier in Google. Here is the proof that http://mylingeriecenter.com/ is an aged domain. I use SEO Quake this is a free tool you can download so you can see this info yourself. But here is a screen shot of the web archive age(that is the first time this domain shows up in Google)...

I assume you meant 2012 not 2009 for when you bought it. I guess the way I check domain age and the way you check domain age are not the same. Perhaps when you checked it was still showing the age from the previous owner but now that it dropped and you bought it my tools show the new age.

Personally, as I understand it, domain age can only be maintained when the domain is bought and transferred from the previous owner so the registration period is continuous.

I am not "trying to discredit" you as you put it but since you put it that way I will respond fully. I was asking a question trying to understand why you would call a 1 week old domain 9 years old.

However, I took a look at your other sales it appears that this is a practice of yours saying that a domain is "aged" just because the domain was once owned before you registered the domain. You are justifying it by citing some software but ignore the fact that you registered it new (not bought it from that previous owner) and it is, in fact, a one week old domain name.

Good luck with your sales. If you have to trick people on the domain age I fear you are not going to do well.

 

lol You must be joking. I am not tricking anyone, sir. I never say it is an "active aged domain" that I am selling, obviously, or I would be selling it for over $1000.

For your information, and to help you out, and to aid you in understanding fully what I am advertising, I kindly suggest you take the time to research and I'm sure you'll be surprised. "Whois Data" only gives the last person to purchase the domain, and the date they bought it. It does not show the web archive age. There are a lot of other internet programs out there to teach you how to find aged domains.

Take a look and educate yourself, as you can see it's worth it, because the domains will RANK EASIER on Google because they are aged domains.

I have the proof to back up what I am stating on my sales page- SEO Quake & URL APPRAISAL. You do not have proof to prove your claims, and therefore I will continue to view them as your OPINION only.

Your tool is not showing the domains age, it is showing the oldest date in web archive which is interesting and all but since it has been dropped and then bought new it is meaningless. Also, I thought everyone knew the domain/url appraisals are a joke. You obviously know they are a joke and have no meaning since you are asking for $75 bucks and it shows a value of $16,091.99. How is that crazy value helpful to anyone? It is a made up number that has no connection to actual value.

Browntwn is correct... even DP says that the site was registered (Registration Date) Sep 7th 2012.
Appraisal sites aren't a source of value either.

I am writing this because I want to warn you that anyone who gets so upset and rudely tries to discredit a seller is OBVIOUSLY another seller that is scared of competition. It is very unprofessional behavior.

If he was an “honest buyer” just trying to make a point then we could have agreed to disagree, because we both believe what we are saying, and have back-up to prove it. But by him ranting at me it should be obvious to everyone just how scared he really is.

Why should he care so much?

Because I am not selling my websites for MORE money because of the domains I find. It’s only a perk to my buyers because it MIGHT give you an edge in your rankings. And as we know anything that might help your ranking on Google is worth it! I have been very successful with my passive income websites, partly due to the aged domain names I use, so I want to pass that along to you.

Using these aged domain names, seems to give my websites an edge in the rankings. Of course I cannot guarantee this, but if you use the proper SEO methods it stands a chance. Maybe more than a new domain name- or maybe less???? As a buyer, that is up to you to decide.

Internet trading is a cutthroat business and many sellers have been doing it for years, and they don’t like to see new competition, especially if it has an edge. I am sorry you all had to witness his lack of professionalism and more importantly, common courtesy. Remember the old saying- the more upset you are about something the more it must mean to you. Obviously he’s worried the way I design my websites might affect him.

And therefore you should consider how valuable aged domain names just might really be!
