    Yes absolutely, white is the wisest. Some webmasters however, seem to give up on staying white because they continuosly fail and ultimately go black. It is unfortunate and strongly believe this issue falls squarely in Google flawed approach.

    With a pagerank of 'not even ranked' and the site only being up for about 60 days, my website

    mckeonengineering.com

    has number 5 ranking on Yahoo for search 'orlando civil engineer' and number 1 rank on Google for search 'orlando civil engineer land developer'. These are common search terms in my area of business yet I was able to get to the top (so to speak) and don't even have a pagerank.

    My other site

    engineertrades.com

    shows up when you search for ' pe exam prep discussion forum ' as number three but doesn't have a pagerank or an Alexa rating. BTW, would like some help in how to drive traffic there. However, pagerank doesn't seem to have as much affect on where the site shows up on the search.

    Search Google for (intitle:"orlando civil engineer land developer"), there is absolutely no competitors. And the first term only has 5 competitors.
