    Hello friends

CTR stands for click through rate . If you are running a campaign for any site promotion the number of clicks counted on your add and you have to pay per click for the promotion.

CTR is a great metric and used to find how effective our web page “call-to-action”. Usually position 1 to 5 in SERP will get more. It also means that there is a lot more to click on in the search results than just web pages. This is not enough to get more "call to action" have to give searchers a real reason too.

Sometimes i think these new posters think we are totally stupid when they ask questions like this, they appear to be making out that they are brand new but they also appear to have some idea of all the terms used in SEO like what is CTR and another thread this member has started is 'what are key phrases' and the such like.

Why dont you use google search for all these 'phrases' or prehaps he is so young he does not have any idea of what 'google search' is.

Basically CTR stands for the rate of click per 100 impressions. It shows the how likely visitors clicks on ads. If CTR is high it mean ads are effective and have a good layout of the site.

CTR rate simply stands for click through rate. Click through rate is the percentage of people who visit your page (or email) and click through to your desired link. So if you send out an email to your list and 500 people viewed it, and 250 clicked through to the product you were promoting your click through rate would be 50%. If you made a post on your blog promoting a product and 100 people visit that page and 38 click on your affiliate link your click through rate would be 38%.
Click through rate is important because it gives you a good idea on how well your copy is working. If you have written a good ad, post, or email that really makes the prospect want to learn more then you will have a high click through rate

CTR is the ratio showing how often people who see your ad end up clicking it. CTR can be used to gauge how well your keywords and ads are performing.

CTR is Click Through Rate is is a method of measuring the success of an online advertising for a website.

The CTR of an advertisement is defined as the number of clicks on an ad divided by the number of times the ad is shown (impressions), expressed as a percentage. For example, if a banner ad is delivered 100 times (100 impressions) and receives one click, then the clickthrough rate for the advertisement would be 1%.
