wow, that is a low payout!
I got 17.20 pounds for selling a Playstation 3 the other day. So seems a bit ridiculous in comparison.
With ebay, you get a % of the seller fees, not the overall income, but even still, you seem to have got a really low payout...how much was the car sold for?

looks like something is wrong, maybe the person didn't actually win it, maybe they just signed up and attempted to buy it.
If they were the winner you would have had a decent cut.

wow..thats really cheap...are all cars that cheap in the US?

sorry...back to the point....the guy didn't register through your affiliate link (if that is the guy that won). So you may have got someone to sign up...just not the winner. And it seems like you have been paid the going rate of someone signing up.

    Does that make sense?

But dont give up...thats a nice site you have there.

Read the final value fees on ebay motors (ebay help), it's not that great. The big payouts happen when you enter the > 50% payout tier, you see those payments (I think) around the 8th of every month.

How do you get ebay item number in CJ? I just get 'winning bid' and no additional information.

    Thanks!

Download the reports in excel, csv or whatever (link at the bottom right of the transaction reports), the last column in the report is:

eBay User Id; eBay Item Id; Leaf Category Id; Click Date; Bid Date; Quantity Sold; Total GMV; 000US (or 000EX); Record Id

OMG, I've been online way too much tonight.

    WTF are you saying?

If you want some insider info .. promote auto parts along side of the autosales. Search the autoparts category for what you are promoting.

Not sure where the PS3 sales thread came from, but can I get the last laugh? My ebay sales for my 3 ps3 sites:

This month: Sale amount: $401.74 Commission: $184.70
Last month: Sale amount: $534.50 Commission: $237.80

I bought those sites in the spring of this year on godaddy for 7 bucks! They are dead now, I thought I would make a killing with preorders... NO WAY ... no preorders, no stock, screw you Sony! I hate sony.

    Wanna buy a few domains?

that didn't make a whole lot of sense....

why were you bragging about PS3 sales then slagging off sony?

The sites were for pre ordering PS3 and the PS3 release date. No online merchants offered pre orders except 2 off shore site. One of those which I had hundreds of orders, no payment until shipped (linksang) is out of business and the other I blew off until linksang went belly up, playasia (made $31 so far). These were Japanese consoles.

The ps3 release date is gone. The preorder is gone, no one offered it. If sony had stock and told the sellers what quantities they could expect, I would have made a killing.

    PS4? Naa.

    http://pages.ebay.com/help/sell/motorfees.html

$40 to insert, $40 if someone bids on it and it goes over reserve price plus $1.00 for buy it now.

The is no final selling fees on cars.

In theory the cost to the advertiser was $81.00

It should have came out about $40 bucks. I would have to guess that the listing was relisted, which is free to relist on ebay. So it looks like you made a commission on the final transaction fee in a relisted auction?

That doesn't add up, that would be about $18.99 oh oh, I'm all confused too now!
