Agree to an extent, however a word of caution. Any forum post (with link in) needs to be "on theme" and add value to the forum readers. If it doesn't you'll likely end up your comment being binned or added to spam list. I'm still amazed at the number of people who spend time writing inane off-topic posts to comments on my sites and think they'll get away with it. Or am I just being overly harsh?
